Acceptable Use Policy

Asif Iqbal · Effective 2 June 2026

Some Hapto products generate images of people. That only works responsibly with clear rules. This policy is binding — breaking it can get your account suspended and, where the law requires, reported.

1. The consent rule

You may only upload a photo of a person if you are that person, or you have their explicit consent to use their image with Hapto. You confirm this each time you upload. If you cannot say yes to that, do not upload the photo.

2. Absolutely prohibited

You must not use Hapto to upload, generate, or share:

3. Label AI outputs honestly

AI-generated outputs are synthetic. You must not present them as authentic photographs or as an endorsement by any person, and you should disclose that they are AI-generated when sharing.

4. Enforcement

We require a consent attestation at upload, apply automated and manual safety checks, and review reported content. We may refuse, block, or remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy, with no refund for violating use. Where the law requires (for example CSAM), we report to the authorities. Generations refused by our safety systems are not charged.

5. Report misuse

If someone has used Hapto with your image without consent, or otherwise broken this policy, contact us immediately at [email protected].

This policy works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
